After going straight to beauty college in 2004 and qualifying at 18, I started my beauty career at Ragdale Hall. I thoroughly enjoyed my 2 and a half years there as it taught me so much. I eventually moved on to work a little closer to home and found a therapist job for Clarins within the newly built John Lewis. After another 2 and a half years I moved onto becoming a trainer. Here I learnt more about this side of the industry. After having children while working in the retail side of the industry as an Account manager for Origins, I decided to create my own little salon in my garage, where I only do the treatments I love to do. This has now been open over 2 and a half years so far This has gone from strength to strength, being busy in-between being a mum of two. At the start of 2021, I became a brand specialist for the Staffordshire Nail Academy, which has been an amazing opportunity. I love being able to showcase their products to others because they work and make our work as techs a lot easier. This is an opportunity that will grow, as I will also become an educator to teach all things nails to new students.
